Terms of Use

1. Purpose

These Terms govern access to and use of the jourx.fr website and the “JourX” mobile app (iOS/Android) — together the “Service” — designed to help users manage a daily budget and track their spending.

2. Publisher & status

Legal details will be completed upon finalization (SIREN/SIRET, registered office, VAT). See also our Legal notice.

3. Acceptance of the Terms

Using the Service constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

4. Definitions

• User: any person who visits the site or uses the app.
• Account: personal space created by the User to access features.
• Daily budget: indicative amount calculated by the app from entered/imported information.
• Essential Mode: use without bank connection (manual entry).
• Connected Mode: use with a read-only bank connection via a licensed provider (optional).

5. Access to the Service

• Service available 24/7 subject to maintenance, updates or force majeure.
• Equipment, internet connection and related costs are the User’s responsibility.

6. User account & security

• Creating an Account may require a valid email address and a strong password.
• The User is responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for any activity performed via their Account.
• Report any unauthorized access immediately to contact@jourx.fr.

7. Plans, trial & subscriptions

• The Service may offer a 30-day free trial (conditions specified at signup).
• Plans (e.g., “Essential”, “Connected”) may be offered. Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and within the app.
• Features may vary by plan. Prices are subject to change (prior notice in accordance with the law).

8. Payment, renewal & cancellation

• Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically (monthly/annual as chosen).
• Cancellation can be made at any time from Account settings (effective at the current term’s end, unless otherwise provided).
• Purchases via the App Store / Google Play are governed by their respective terms (billing, refunds, subscription management).

9. Right of withdrawal

Under consumer law, you have a 14-day withdrawal period where applicable. For digital content provided before the end of this period, you may be asked to waive this right when activating the Service immediately. Purchases made via the App Store / Google Play follow those platforms’ procedures.

10. Bank connection (optional)

The bank connection is optional and read-only. It is being selected via a licensed aggregator (AISP/payment institution). Your explicit consent is required and can be revoked at any time.

• Without a connection, the Service remains usable (manual entry).
• You can enable/disable the connection and remove linked accounts from your Account.

11. Personal data (GDPR)

JourX applies a privacy-by-design approach and limits collection to what is strictly necessary. For details (purposes, legal bases, retention, rights), see our Privacy Policy. Data contact: contact@jourx.fr.

12. Cookies & audience measurement

No advertising tracking. Functional cookies may be used (security, session). A privacy-friendly audience measurement may be used, with consent where required.

13. Intellectual property

The Service, its content and trademarks are protected. Any reproduction or representation, in whole or in part, without written authorization is prohibited.

14. Liability & limitations

• The Service provides information and calculations for indicative and decision-support purposes only, and does not constitute personalized financial advice.
• JourX cannot be held liable for decisions made by the User nor for financial consequences resulting from use of the Service.
• JourX strives to ensure Service availability without guaranteeing the absence of errors or interruptions.

15. Changes to the Terms

These Terms may be updated. The User will be informed by any appropriate means. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing law – disputes – mediation

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, French courts shall have jurisdiction.

Consumer mediation: to be designated. EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR): ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
